Scholars Programs support team members pursuing healthcare licenses, certifications, and advanced clinical careers. Through educational partnerships and financial support, Augusta Health helps participants gain the training needed to grow into high-demand roles.
ADN Scholars Program
The Augusta Health Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) Scholars Program, in partnership with Blue Ridge Community College, provides one of the fastest pathways to becoming a Registered Nurse.
Participants receive educational support while completing their degree and gain valuable clinical experience within Augusta Health. Many graduates continue on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with additional financial support.
LPN Scholars Program
Augusta Health partners with Valley Career & Technical Center and Massanutten Technical Center to support team members pursuing a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) career.
This 18-month program provides tuition assistance, hands-on learning, and a guaranteed role upon graduation, allowing participants to transition directly into nursing practice.
Cath Lab Technician Scholars Program
This 12-month program prepares eligible EMTs and Paramedics to become Certified Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists (RCIS).
Participants gain hands-on experience in Augusta Health’s cardiac catheterization laboratory while preparing for national certification.
Pharmacy Technician Scholars Program
The Pharmacy Technician Scholars Program provides financial support, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for students pursuing pharmacy technician certification.
Participants may sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam and transition into pharmacy roles at Augusta Health.
Radiology Technician Scholars Program
This program supports second-year students enrolled in a JRCERT-accredited radiology program.
Participants receive financial assistance and clinical work opportunities while completing their education and preparing for ARRT certification.
Certified Medical Assistant Scholars Program
The CMA Scholars Program is a 28-week online training program that allows participants to work full-time while preparing for the NHA Certified Clinical Medical Assistant exam.
The program combines online coursework with hands-on clinical experience and financial support.
Cardiac Sonographer Scholars Program
This 12-month paid program prepares eligible EMTs and Paramedics to perform cardiac imaging and diagnostic procedures.
Participants receive hands-on clinical training and are eligible to sit for certification exams upon completion.
Advanced Practice Provider Scholars Program
The Advanced Practice Provider Scholars Program supports Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant students through mentorship, financial assistance, and professional development opportunities.
Graduates may transition into advanced clinical roles at Augusta Health.
