Description

Creating an Inclusive Workplace: A study in how diversity and inclusion are important to a team and organization’s success. In this course, we’ll discuss strategies to build and support a culture to leverage the different dimensions of diversity. Leaders will learn more about effective conflict management to assess, scope, and diagnose issues; understand the personalities involved; and implement a problem-solving method that will strengthen relationships and results. Competencies Addressed: Diversity and Inclusion; Continuous Improvement; Emotional Intelligence Leadership Essentials is designed for all Augusta Health leaders, including team members who have been identified as high-potential for advancement. Courses are three (3) hours in duration. Through lecture and scenario-based activities, leaders will practice key concepts and strategies, develop action-plans for success and improvement, and take away quick reference guides for task-based responsibilities.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion, participants should be able to:

– build and support a culture leveraging the different dimensions of diversity,

– understand and develop strategies championing inclusivity and belongingness, and

– develop simple conflict management skills to assess, scope, and diagnose the issues and personalities involved.
